actually this is not a matter of believing in certain odds, but as a gambler you should have full responsibility for the bet. and if there are gamblers who consider gambling to get income or money multipliers, it is a sign that the gambler will lose more money and always odds small opportunities that look certain but are not certain.

Having said that if a person develops some sort of issues with the control they have over their gambling then this can become a lot more difficult, just as someone addicted to drugs needs to increase the doses they put into their body in order to have the same effect, the addicted gambler needs to increase the amount of money they gamble in order to experiment the same kind of adrenaline rush they enjoy, but as we can see such a thing can have awful results when luck is not on their side.

The end results of addiction mostly turned to negative outcome and just like how you explain the part of gambling addiction they needed to keep adding more money to fill the lust inside them, the adrenaline and all those additional factors to satisfied the needs of continuing, the gambling lust inside them will push them to keep adding more money and trying to win more.

The result most of the time is not favoring them, and worse, they will suffer to lose everything.
