Although i have never reason of other country rather than the both country fighting, you are right the other closet country sells their equipment to those both country fighting.

Well to me is just like an advantage over other country, but have you thought of the effects it would amount to the both countries?
if you don't know, my region was a victim between inter community conflicts (disput) that results in burning down building and setting schools and market place on fire, this happened early 2001 to 2002 and guess what?
We have not been able to recover the lost even the inhabitants were relocated to other state and region across our country, lacking infrastructure and community development.
