it seems that btc is like s&p \ dow \ other index. but indices are formed by shares. and btc has only faith. some of the tokens are better (some of them are based on business, some on the infrastructure, some of them can provide real anonymity.
So for me the bigger question is how btc could safe its position after years after appearing new really good tokens.
