I remember someone who recommended to always keep a rather large stack of BTC as CM vouchers (to be fair: not the recommended usage of ChipMixer) from which you can get the amount you need, whenever you have to do a payment. I'll look up later who that was; I'd be interested if he was affected, too, for instance.

That's an interesting concept, and I doubt that I disagree.

It's like keeping a personal bug out bag.. in cyberspace.. so you may well be able to access it from anywhere in the world if "shit-hits-the-fan."

I feel like I am not sufficiently knowledgeable enough to know how keeping it on chipmixer would provide a whole hell-of-a-lot of advantages as compared to just having some ways in which back up seeds are kept that might have a certain value on them.

It's like maybe a certain amount for fleeing and bribing folks in order to get to some escape location.. but how much would that be? $10k to $100k?

or maybe if any of us might presume that the total BTC stash would be larger than the bug-out bag amount, then the total stash would still be retrievable, but just might take longer to access... so maybe the temporary stash would be enough to survive for 1-6 months while transitioning to a safer place.. but if any of us might expect that we could end up being detained (whether by legal means or maybe by less than scrupulous individuals/authorities), then tokens might come in handy for something like that.. and surely if there might be bribing of officials (or bribing of thugs, depending on definitions of "what is a thug?") then the amounts available might need to be larger and even some plausible deniability that might suggest "that's everything I got... really, I am not lying.. this time.."..

I suppose that we could come up with scenarios in which there are several "officials" that might need to be bribed, or even some abilities to bribe for escape routes - think about SBF considering ways to bribe folks to be able to remove his electronic monitor.. and not even trying to suggest that it is good to conceive of ways to "break the law".. but there could be scenarios in which there is debate about "who are the good guys" and "who are the bad guys" and also what measures might be taken in order to attempt to "remain free," "not get tortured" or other wised maimed or killed... .. and even stages in which some money is due at various points of "the escape."   Probably, we are not really supposed to be talking about various methodologies that might end up happening in a "fugitive from the law." kind of a scenario, even though a "fugitive from those 'other bad guys' situation" would be more acceptable.  I suppose... a bug-out bag already presumes some level of questioning who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, I suppose.
