Diego Someone men are not doing badly in recent times. The have never lost a game in eight games. The have won six and drew only two games. They are still closely followed by Real Sociedad who are three point below and Real Betis who are fifth with 54 point six points below Atlético Madrid. The team have to work hard to ensure they don't loose more games. And their next match against Betis is also very important because it will determine how close this rival will be to the Atlético team. I was really glad to see Álvaro Morata improved performance. Yeah Atletico are back to their form once again but so far in 2023 they have done well in my opinion. Lot of close games but in most of them they had made a break in the end so not bad. Both Sociedad and Betis are behind with 3 and 6 points gap so bit close given the games left.

Signing of Depay has proved to be crucial for Simeone's team. He is now a starter for Atletico. Also Morata has been scoring also but after signing of Depay he has lost significant amount of playing minutes.
