Not necessarily the price is always dependent on bitcoin and USD value, the problem with Solana is that they are having bugs which causes the network to fail and with the limited number of projects that started using them have already migrated to other networks because they cannot trust a network which keeps on failing and the promise of long term fix is not yet fulfilled.

Besides, many investors had experienced disappointment when they invested in previous Solana projects and may not want to invest in Solana again. We also don't know how Solana will develop shortly so if we invest in Solana, I guess we are gambling with our money and that's up to you. But we really need to find out more about Solana so we don't choose the wrong investment. There are still many other projects with promising potential but that also depends on the research results you do.
