I agree that segwit transactions are cheap and that's one of the reasons why we use it. But, Segwit is not faster than a lightning network. The lightning network is faster.

of course the LN is real, and binance has power in the crypto scene but not all this power.
but in the end the LN is still quite niche and the technology is in its first steps
