I do not see any reason why people still prefer 1xbit over reputed casinos.

Even if it's for their personal interest I'm still not sure they'll sort it out and refund some of the victims' money.
1xbit is still doing a lot of promotions and offers outside the forum so there are lots of casual gamblers who will fall victim to 1xbit scams.
Outside the forum, no one has been able to stop the promotion, so it's natural that there are still gamblers playing there.
