2. The Crypto Winter: From late 2017 to early 2019, the cryptocurrency market experienced a prolonged bearish phase, which is commonly referred to as the "crypto winter." During this time, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies declined by over 80%, and many projects and businesses related to cryptocurrencies went bankrupt.

This was an important accumulation phase for me.

I discovered bitcoin in 2017 and bought some. The crypto winter was an opportunity to expand it, specially through this forum.

Good times , and patient and perseverance paid off.
This must be a tough time for those who are forced to sell this time because of the very low prices of coins. However, this is also a good opportunity for us to enter the market and buy those coins at their cheapest prices.

Hodlers have no other choice but to sell since the value of coins back then was continuously decreasing. But that year is the best time to invest with its value that affordable to buy. Due to market situation I've also sell it before it falls drastically. Then I invested again while its in the lowest and decided to hold it but not for a long period of time, still I gained profit from it. I still can't believed that those events happened years ago, many of investors loss a lot and some earned. Its true some coins went 0 but holding in stable coins is a good choice.
I won't deny that during that year, the market was bloody red and some already decided to take loss just to escape that pithole, but that was also one of the foundations why there are people who earned so much after 2019. There was so many self proclaimed millionaires late 2020 due to that incident, that is also why people are hoping that history will repeat itself after this bear season, but the question is until how long we wait? We all know that there is no assurance and fix time as to when the market will experience the next bull, and maybe some of those who hope that things will happen again will gave up.
