Trading BTC pair doesn't make the desired movement than traders want but I like BTC trade pair during bear market.
If you gain, your profit would be accumulate in the bitcoin and this may turn to a great news during bull market trend.

Long-term trading might have an element of long-term investing and that is a trader will need to patiently wait for his coin to recover before he sells it. Long term can also mean like a plan or commitment. Like for example one must trade for 2 years and after that, he can now quit. Trading and investment still has their differences. Bitcoin is the best coin in investing but Bitcoin can also work great in trading due to its characteristics.

Alts are more stable but there are still people who use them in trading. We can use our trading profits to invest in Bitcoin but there is a better way of doing it and that is to trade the coin directly with Bitcoin. That should save us fees and time.
