I do understand that there are a lot of people who would like to invest into altcoins during the dip because that means if you found a good one, in the bull run period it could give you 10x or even more. Bitcoin can't go as high as some altcoins can, some coins could go 10x higher and still not be in top 10 and people are trying to find the ones that can do that. I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be making sure that price is not doing too bad during the bear run.

Check how much bitcoin dropped during bear run, and eth too and bnb too, and if the coin you want to buy dropped around that much, then it must be a decent one for sure, because only strong ones stand strong during bear run.
