Actually, many girl characters in Animes and Mangas are based on real Japanese girls. Such type of girl you can basically find in Japanese culture. ...

You can find cartoons of them in the toilets there, along with signs explaining proper use of toilets.

Just to clarify... I meant the character and behavior not so the looks ... although cosplay is quite a thing in Japan
