Gambling addicts are people who lose control over themselves and need a strong factor in order for these people to wake up from slumber and correct their ways and restore their control on themsleves. It is always important that people who are under addiction to have family support. Most gambling addicts cannot escape from addiction by themselves and needs third party to guide them towards recovery.

Religious groups are against gambling because of their doctrine and belief. It has nothing to do about a gambler getting out of control or being addicted since religious followers also suffer addiction but they do not blame religion addiction as a sin because it favors their group.

It is easier said than done but for those who have full control of themselves, I agree with you saying it is easy to practice responsible gambling.
