Looking at the top scoring board for a season in the EPL is currently occupied by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer with a total of 34 goals. However, it seems that this record will not last long because currently Erling Haaland has equaled Mohammed Salah's record of 32 goals. There is no question that Haaland will not break this record in the Premier League this season. There are still a few matches left for the club to play, and Haaland scores in around 90% of their matches, thus breaking this record will be a dream come true for him shortly. He is a goal scoring machine, therefore breaking a goal scoring record will be no problem for him. This is one of the best signings in Manchester City and Guaordiola's career.

On the other hand Chelsea are having one of the worst seasons for themselves in the recent years. I wouldn't have given them much chance to get even one point if the match was played at the weekend. The season has ended for them in the league already.

No one will want to back a side that has struggled all season against a team that has a larger edge in all of the European competition matches they've played this season. Chelsea appear to be a team trying to capitalize on their potential and strength but still finding it hard to do so. They are fortunate to be in a strong position to stay in the Premier League. If this performance continues for one or two seasons, Chelsea may be relegated the next time it occurs, which I’m optimistic it won’t since it looks they’ll sign a new coach which they’re hopeful he’ll be better than the current one.
