1000% Correct in my opinion is all about the hype the shiba inu and pepe coin is hype because of Binance lists every coin or token that listed on Binance will Rocket launched it to moon for certain of time and because Binance listed it other big exchange starts to list it too.

and all about pump and dump coin when the hype is there the other developer will start to creating it and same name and bump your coin will go to mars oh and by the way just checked on Coingecko the price is down 60% from ATH in a 4 days
