I think you are way to hard on Pochettino to be honest. Yes it is true, that he has never won a trophy during his pretty long first stay at Tottenham but i also think that Tottenham is just not as strong as the other big clubs in the Premier League. So to say that he is not a good trainer just because he did not win a title with a team, is not really fair in my opinion. He even managed to reach the Champions League final with them in 2019 against clubs that definitely were stronger than them. So i think that Pochettino definitely is a great coach.
So i think he is definitely a viable candidate, now that Nagelsmann seem to already have declined the offer of Tottenham.

I think Pochettino is the right alternative for Chelsea at the moment. It's not easy to get the right coach when Chelsea's condition is down. Every world-class coach will certainly consider that the team he coaches must play in European competition, because it concerns his reputation.

Pochettino has never had success in England but I think he is a coach who really understands the conditions in the Premier League. Unlike Tottenham, Chelsea is a team that is financially capable and has a high target of becoming a champion. It's not easy for Pochettino, but if club officials give him time, he will be able to bring Chelsea back to challenge for the championship.
