Chennai super kings failed to make a decent score. Anything under 150 runs is almost impossible to defend in these IPL matches and due to this Kolkata Knight Riders comfortably won this match.

Chennai super kings had a good start with 61-2 in around 8 overs But after that, they started losing quick wickets and never recovered.
Shivam Dube scored 48 runs later in the innings but they were not able to make a decent total. Kolkata Knight Riders also had a bad start when Jason Roy was out at 33-3 but later Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh both scored 50+ runs and won the game for Chennai super kings.

Today CSK failed to score as Gaikwad scored 17 runs, Conway scored 30 runs and Rahane scored 16 runs. Somehow Dubey managed to score important runs for the team. If not the score could've been even lower.
