I think many regular coffee consumers consume coffee due to the benefits they derive from it. Some say it makes the drinkers feel energetic, high, alerted, helps in concentration, etc. These benefits could be necessary to increase the productivity of people during work. And its important to start one's day with any good thing that helps boost productivity without abusing it.

It becomes an addiction if the consumers can't do without coffee such that they suffer withdrawal symptoms when they suddenly try to stop consuming it.
