With Haaland you have another option, which is cross balls. That wasn't so popular for Manchester City because they didn't have this striker with superior physique. Now they do and he is good at almost everything. Maybe one small weakness he has is the one vs. one dribbling attacks. I wouldn't say his technique is bad only because it looks a bit stiff sometimes, but he is not the high speed dribble guy who is taking opponents one on one all the time.
When facing Madrid in the second leg and early in the first half this scheme has been shown and is actually still quite effective, it's just that Courtois was still able to make a brilliant save for the 2 opportunities that Haaland created.
Currently their conditions can still be the same. with Silva or Mahrez on the side of the field and of course Grealish on the other side I think this scheme will still be effective. On the other hand, don't forget KDB's classy passes from the middle of the pitch because his options can become overwhelming because when that scheme doesn't work he can create chances with his powerful shots.
