I am quite sure that a great deal of those people do know you cannot make money with gambling, however they read all the stories about people getting some impressive wins and they cannot help to think why that cannot happen to them?

And in theory they are not wrong, as they could get some massive wins if they are lucky enough, but that is the problem, they depend on their luck, and we know that on average you will get the results probabilities indicate, which as we know this means a negative expected value on each one of our bets.

I am one of those people, I don't still believe that people are making good amount of money from gambling, my 1 out of 10 gambling is why brings me anything close to good win, the rest are waste of money, seeing is believing isn't it? And that's why I don't believe in stories talking about how much they win through online gambling, I knew the stories are either a fake one or the same gambling shit happened again, winning once in a while is the only possible thing with gambling.

I have to agree with you, on a personal ground that I myself have never been lucky enough to win any amount I could tag as tangible, from gambling, but to be sincere, my being unlucky wouldnt be a reason enough to conclude that every other gambler out there is unlucky too..
Seeing is believing yeah, Ive heard about people who became millionaires(in local currencies) out of a bet as little as $1 or even lower, this stories are hard to believe yeah, but then, on two or I think three occasions, I've come across celebration of somebody turned into a multi millionaire through gambling...

There is really luck in the world of gambling, and that we have not encountered it does not mean it's not there.

Precisely, a good example is those who won from a lottery a dollar ticket gives them the luxury to change a lifetime,
those who know how to take care of such luck will enjoy a luxurious life.

But just the same, if you are not that good at controlling yourself, even you've got that opportunity, chances that you will continue to chase
for more will lead you to lose it back from gambling.

And same with your statement, because you didn't experience it means that it's not happening, it is but not for you yet..
