The only other person (at the moment) with that same problem is Hyphen(-), so whatever's gone wrong, it's affecting both of you (but nobody else). Maybe you're both running the same wonky OS, or some other piece of software that's affecting copy/paste?
[1] This isn't just something that shows up on profiles, it's also present when viewing posts (you just have to narrow your browser window to see it).
While I'm here, and since Hhampuz outed me, I may as well repeat the snitchy table I sent him (accurate at time of posting):
[2] I'm not sure what happened here, but if you compare their avatar to the original, you'll see that it's much less green.
[3] If you look carefully at the area around the Whirlwind icon, you'll see the problem.
