LOL.. are you claiming that CSK doesn't have any quality players? That is factually incorrect. Obviously they had a mix of young and old in their team, but it would be wrong to say that they are without star players. Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja are regular Indian players, while among the overseas contingent they had players such as Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes, Mitchell Santner and Maheesh Theekshana, who are some of the best T20 players in the world. Captaincy obviously helped, but then their players also contributed in a big way.
Indian leagues are attempting to meet the needs of sports by providing opportunities for growth in each season. Although their clubs are inferior, underrated clubs like CSK will win at the end of the day, displaying superb performance in league games, capable of winning top clubs with the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, one of the good quality players, they have been brought into the limelight where they will enjoy the game's actions. The main difference is that these players' names are not as popular as some of the league's major names.
