I haven't seen Inter parking the bus against a team for a long time. They have been used to playing with 3 defenders and an offense-oriented game at the same time.
Inter Milan aren't really an attacking team, of course they have their own way of approaching games and getting goals, but they are not the kind of team that holds possession and attacks constantly, they do not have the necessary quality in their squad to do that. Having said that, there's no doubt that Inter would park the bus against City, even most of the best clubs in the world would do that, when you come up against City you have to respect them and accept the fact that they would control most aspects of the game, Inter have to do one thing, defend and wait to hurt City on the counter.

I agree with you Inter Milan may not be well know for a team that like parking bus but playing against one of the best and most informed team in the world right now which is Manchester City, they will do nothing but reduce in attack and focus more on the defense else they will have themselves to blame because City will run them down. I think Manchester City will have total control of the midfield, possession and ball control but Inter Milan will capitalize on getting a goal through a counter attack then park the bus because City will focus on attack so if they fail to defend after launching an attack that will be a good opportunity for Inter Milan to penetrate them a score.
Let's not just write off Inter Milan just yet, shall we? Sure, Man City are in some fiery form, but this is football, and anything can happen on any given day! This ain't your typical superhero movie where the good guys always win. No, sir! This is the beautiful game where the underdogs can rise!

Remember how teams like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid held their own against City? It wasn't by focusing on the center forward alone, but by spreading their defensive net wide. Inter Milan can do the same, focus on their game and not just on Haaland! Perhaps a spray approach, where every City player is accounted for, could turn the tables!

Moreover, let's not forget the mind games. Man City, once they score, strut around the field like they own it. If Inter can land the first punch, get that opening goal, who knows how City would respond?

Inter can try and defend and they probobly will but City always finds a way this season and if they just score one goal and take a lead early it will be game over for Inter. Everybody is expecting an easy win for City but still this is the final and if Inter can survive until have time they might have a chance to win this. If inter somehow scores and takes the lead i think o most for sure they will park the bus after that.
