Then in the end they will say that "I should have stopped betting earlier so I wouldn't have led to a big loss" their regret its too too late.

Yeah when we say regret, it is always at the end.  It is the feeling of having the burden of a wrong decision.  So if we wanted to avoid it, we must allocate the amount we can afford to lose and control ourselves firmly.
Most gamblers are almost like that, even I'm not a hypocrite, sometimes I feel sorry at the end when I'm lulled by a game that gives me consecutive wins, but I forget that my initial goal was not to play for money but to have fun, knowingly that I had achieved pleasure and spending money. for my daily gambling is up I will stop with the game when I have reached satisfaction.

Everyone knows that regret always comes at the end of the game, but true gamblers who know the risks of gambling will not care about regret because all they have to do is accept defeat and risk gracefully, because I'm sure all gamblers play gambling consciously so why regret it also will not return anything that has been lost.
