I don't understand what you mean, because Sevilla's performance was also not good in La Liga but Sevilla won the Europa League title. Also, I don't understand why you are linking Sevilla with Manchester City when in fact, the Champions League winner has not been won yet and Manchester City cannot fully guarantee to win either.

Because, if I try to understand what you mean, then maybe I feel you mean about the UEFA Super Cup pitting the winner of the Champions League against the winner of the Europa League. But, if that's your intention, then I think it's too soon for you to sentence Sevilla like that because after all, with Sevilla winning the Europa League trophy it's actually very good and you can't expect anything higher than that from Sevilla.
