City have agreed personal terms with Chelsea's Kovacic, but the deal isn't done yet because Chelsea and City haven't discussed on the transfer fee yet, they'd do that after the CL final, having said that i don't think City want Kovacic to be a direct replacement for Gundogan because there is an offer on the table for him, one he might agree to after the CL final tomorrow.

Barcelona have not opened any talks with Gundogan and his agent yet, they will have to wait until after the CL final, then Gundogan will make a decision to either stay or leave, that is when talks can take place if he decides to go.

I think Manchester city are focused on the UCL final for now. But After the Champions League final, Manchester City will have to negotiate the transfer fee with Chelsea, since he has already agreed personal terms with them. So it wont be difficult to reach an agreement, as Kovacic has only one year left on his contract and is also expendable for Mauricio Pochettino. Honestly, Kovacic toManchester city is a very scary deal. I don’t think you people are ready to see Kovacic under pep. He’s a Ball retention demon. Manchester city ball retention is about to multiply, and I doubt other teams would still find their way to the top this time around.
