In This season germany teams had a decent run in the european competitions bayern made it to the quarter finals losing only to the champion and europe most powerfull team, leverkusen team made it to the semi finals of the europa league and they lost with a tight score, even freiburg, union berlin leipzig and dortmund made it past the group stages in their own competitions it's no wonder bayern team won the bundesliga with high difficulty.

This season is indeed the busiest season for several bundesliga teams because they are much tougher to be able to compete for a better stage in European competition. I think this is the result of their many years of training and did not expect that there would be many representatives from Germany who made it through to at least the quarter-finals.

Apart from all that, I am very sure they will return to the same place or even more than that to continue to prove that German clubs are now not just "decoration" in European competition. Especially for Union Berlin we will see their first debut in the champions league next season and I hope Union Berlin can also focus on the bundesliga because playing in two different competitions will be very tiring.
