Because Newcastle did not want to buy him that is the major reason why they would lose out on the deal and they've been snapped by Manchester United who are now considering Aston Villa who are seeking to get him on a short-term deal according to a rumour. It is just too bad that Maguire has lost his place in Manchester United sometimes the coach finds it difficult to put him in a game knowing that he can make mistakes and spoil the entire effort of the team. Maybe moving to a new club will reinvent him and help him find himself. Harry Maguire has become the excess defender that Manchester United need to shed off for them to be able to bring Kim Min Jae to the club, that is why they are serious about a club buying him and not loaning him.

Majorly i don't blame the player for not getting featured in Manchester United in this season the fact that man u have a lot of problems makes it unstable for the coach to properly and effectively managed the available players to deliver results in most of their matches but he failed to do so, and by that any young player whose carrier is still bright to seek greener pasture in some other clubs and if there get a deal there is no way there won't leave manchester united to go for that.

Most especially now that Manchester United is being bided to be sold to a new owner which will usher in another dispensation in the club.
