Yes, you're right, the European League is one of the better leagues and has more competitive competition compared to other leagues. What makes the names of soccer players famous are those who played in the European League before, such as Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema, by making stunning achievements with the big teams in Europe. Young players only can grow up well if they are playing in biggest leagues and at best clubs. Because playing in such environment will help young players to learn from experienced star players and facing against tough opponents will help those young players to break their limits. Without challenge to break through, you will not hit your best and European Leagues are helpful for young players to achieve this for their career. Like Benzema will not discover all of his potential and limits if he did not leave Lyon to join Real Madrid years ago.

It is fairer to compare Saudi Professional League to other leagues in the Middle East countries. They have similar conditions from culture, domestic and local player resources, average salary, continental competitions for clubs and national teams. With latest big transfers of Cristiano and Benzema, Saudi Professional League are leading Middle East area but it is too soon to conclude their league will gain improvement in quality and their local players will become better in next several years.
