They have played a total of 7 T20Is against full-members (3 vs Ireland, 2 vs Zimbabwe and one each against Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Out of these 7 matches, they managed to win just one (vs Afghanistan).

Nepal have got good support from the nation and it have got able players. Surely in the long run Nepal will be a tough contender to every cricketing nation. Amidst financial issues Nepal have progressed and reached the World Cup qualifier and the Asia Cup. Nepal needs to get more opportunities to play against the full members. Nepal haven't toured out of the sub continent. Playing on different pitches against different nations will give varied experience. Most small nations were performing good. In yesterday's match it was Oman have reached 339 runs while chasing the target of 367 against Zimbabwe. This isn't simple, and more similar progress can happen in the World Cup qualifier.
