I did lose a significant amount of money in gambling in the initial days trying to chase losses.
But after a point it was clear that I can sustain long like this in gambling and after that I gambled with less amount thus not losing more.

It is a good thing that you are able to cope with the losses. Many gamblers are remorseful when they lost a lot of money and keep on coming back until they ruin their financial system. Only a few gambler are like you that are able to continue gambling and be able to control yourself to minimize your losses after huge losses. I bet you are able to recover some of your losses and you are able to control yourself in the amount you have to allocate in your bankroll so that your future losses won't take a toll on your financial needs.
