With Mane on the team for the previous six seasons Liverpool always qualified for the Champions League thus this season fifth place performance was unusual. Looking ahead it appears that Manchester City will continue to be the favourites to win the championship in the next season.

They made a big mistake for allowing Mane to leave the club, they will find it really hard to get his replacement any time soon. Just one season he left the club, they didn't win any trophy none qualify for the champions league. It's really obvious mane was the engine room of Liverpool success under Klopp.
