If they were able to retain the good players, Bayern could not have been dominating the league for years. It takes a consistent team to have great success, it's only financially good to sell a player who can make money without using it to another team.
On the one hand, they are doing something quite logical, they always sell their players when they are at their most valuable and make a lot of money. But their chances of becoming champions are dwindling
One thing I really want to see is that it is not easy for Dortmund to let go of its key players, because if Dortmund dares to make the choice to keep their key players by increasing their salaries then of course Dortmund will be able to win a trophy. Because even though Dortmund always sell their key players, but the reality is that Dortmund can still compete well in the Bundesliga title race. Therefore, if only one season Dortmund can retain all its key players, then of course Dortmund will be able to stop Bayern Munich's successive title success.
