Hey guys, from the 28th of June, every Wednesday I am going to be holding a Bitcoin meetup in Sydney.

To move your thread, Scroll down to the footer and find the Move Topic button bottom left corner. Click on it, Choose Bitcoin -- Meetups and then click on the Move Topic button again to move it. You are done!
Now get back to the main topic. It will be good if people find more people to trade in real life. But, If someone cares too much about their privacy, I don't think they like public meetups. Anyways, I saw there are four upcoming events already. The place is Shark Hotel; I am wondering if there is any fees to join this event. If not, Who will pay the charge of the hotel?
I understand what your saying, but those kinds of people never leave their basement anyway and are happy to take their bitcoin to the grave.
On that note if anyone wants to wear a freaky ski mask and give us an alias, that's totally ok hahah
I've been to plenty of bitcoin meetups and met lots of people, it's how I got into bitcoin actually. And no there's no fees, it's just a regular bar in Sydney.
