However, Inter Milan will go home with their head high because of their performance against Manchester City tonight. Inter were the better team of the night and had more chances to win the European title but "luck" I think wasn't on their own side to win the game.
If the team isn't performing well, changing lots of Ac Milan players won't help them advance; think of the Chelsea team, which has changed coaches more than twice and yet hasn't done well this season. I'm not arguing that replacing Maldini will not benefit AC Milan, but what I'm trying to convey is that it's best to proceed cautiously when replacing players or coaches who are giving their all to a team.
Since Ac Milan is one of the top teams in serie A and they want to perform well in the champions league every year, I have faith that they will try again the following year.
