I think if trophies are the only thing that he wants, he should consider going to Bayern Munich. If he do that, he will be able to win the Bundesliga title easily. In comparison to the English Premier League title, this is at least far more easier to win.

So the obvious thing is that if he wants trophies, then going to Manchester United is going to be a bad decision for him. You know, Manchester United is an improving team, but they are still not capable of winning the Champions League or English Premier League title at this time.
