I think it's a bit pathetic. Surely there are no better candidates in the US than those two? It just goes to show that it's not necessarily the best who get to run for president, but the ones with the most influence.

Biden has shown signs of cognitive problems and as time goes on he is not going to get any better. Trump at the moment does not seem to have cognitive problems but he will be 78 years old by the time he is elected president again. Ronald Reagan made a joke about his opponent's youth when his opponent questioned his age, because at the time he was the oldest president in US history and these two are older than he is now.

Sadly, it seems that in the United States, not the best candidates are those who get the votes. I am not an expert but I would bet that there are better people (even in congress and the house of representatives) who would do a better job than any of those two have done.

It is all about sponsorship and the donor's money.

It seems that in the next election, Biden will again face Trump and this will again be a fairly hot election, considering that these two pairs are people full of controversy. It will be quite difficult to choose who will win, whether Biden or Trump, but considering Biden's declining health, this will be a good chance for Trump to regain his position and remove Biden from his position as president.

I've been trying to figure out if I want to be this election, but there's so much unknown now that I'm starting think I'm not going to risk my money. I thought for sure that Hilary Clinton was going to beat Trump and look how that turned out. So, it's sadly going to be a re-match but no clue how it's going to go. The one thing I do know, and agree with you on, it's a lesser of two evils. Sadly

Hillary did not have much of a chance, I think. Even if she was a better option than she was back then, traditionally there is a lot of people who would not choose a woman to the the president of USA. Sexism and stereotypes are real, very real.
