Yesterday evening new reports appeared, that Tottenham made a new offer to Harry Kane with a huge salary boost for him and that the boss of Tottenham, Daniel Levy, is very angry with the officials of Bayern Munich because according to him they are talking to Harry Kane for a long time now. Therefore he wants to make them suffer and is asking for a very high transfer fee for Kane if he can not convince him to stay with this new offer.
If that really is the case and Tottenham is asking for a huge transfer fee, then i also think that it would be better to not try to sign Harry Kane anymore. To spend 100 M€ for a 30 year old player just does not make any sense in my opinion. Because for that amount of money you can get a world class striker that is way younger too.

I think Kane's situation is the same as Mbappe's, both players want to leave but their clubs are holding them back by giving new contracts and increased salaries. But yes, that situation has been around for a long time I think from the previous few seasons as well and as such, it would be a loss for the club itself if the player is not willing to sign the new contract on offer. So yes, if Bayern Munich can still give $70 million then I think it remains a good advantage for Tottenham too, but if Tottenham are too greedy then of course the money remains a big obstacle for Kane to leave.
