It seems that you grew up in a negative environment. As a grew up my i never experienced to be scared on failing my grades because my parents did not set a very high expectation. They just let me study and supported me weather i get a high or low grade. They do not demand and pressure me to study very hard and get this grades. This is just a suggestion do not do to your children what you had experienced when you are growing up. Being in that kind of situation it can affect their mental health and the fear deep inside them will grow and it will stays in their heart and mind forever. For you to be able to make a lot of money you have to find other means like finding a side job, creating your own business etc. If you will pursue your target goals then you will be able to earn a lot of money. Just be patient and work hard.

The OP's story reminds me of the bitcoin education for kids discussed recently on the forum. Many parents are forcing their children to learn bitcoin when they are too young, and they are always asking their children to learn bitcoin by all means without regard for their feelings. That will not bring any benefit, but on the contrary, it will cause their children to have a negative childhood, affecting their future like what OP is going through.
Each child is an individual and has a different stage of development, so parents should not force their children too much but let them grow up on their own

Being early is good but its not really that something that should really be forced on doing so because if you do able to do such thing then you would really be definitely be able to stir up their minds and might be ending up
on things which arent you that expecting. Forcing something on early age would definitely be giving out that kind of possible effect which might led into lost of interest or missing out those things which are supposed to be
done first or would cherish out first specially when they are young. You would definitely make them more stressed if you try to force on learning something just because you do really like in doing so.
Always be considerate on other factors or things.

In regarding in the situation on which you cant really be able to go home just because you dont have that much money on which your wife expecting into is such a bullshit story. You've been married
and able to earn things according into your job. How your wife would really be not letting you on going home without bringing money in the first place?
Unless if you have spend it all in other things around.
