I agree if we want to last longer in gambling while still having sanity, we need to limit ourselves. After all self-control is the pill against gambling addiction. Anyway, I also experience the same thing, initially winning but ending up losing my bankroll. It happened recently, I deposited around $30 in a casino, and I made it grow to $200+, sadly greed hits me and wanting to win more so I raise my wagering bet which ends up in faster bankroll depletion. Although my gambling session that day ends up losing my bankroll, I didn't feel any regret even though I lost that $200+ which should have been a pure profit if I withdraw since I always consider my session as a lost, it will only be a bonus if I happen to withdraw a larger amount. With this kind of thinking, I gamble with less pressure and frustration.

Indeed. Players shouldn't gamble excessively to avoid being addicted in gambling. One must know his limitations to prevent any troubles that may arise with lack of discipline such as problems in financial matters and the likes. Limitation and boundaries are important to be established because it is one of the armors of a gambler from being intoxicated and dependent in bad gambling habits. If one is irresponsible, then losses are expected to happen.

It's just saddening that people are being greedy and keep on forgetting about the consequences of gambling. Just like what happened to you, it was an unfortunate scenario but could totally be prevented if only you knew better from the start. Really do hope that you learned your lesson well and have more winnings in your future plays and bets.
