For starters, I think Manchester City are very much beatable at the moment based on the fact that they are rebuilding their team and some big names have left the club who we all considered instrumental to their success, but with them leaving this could be their only weakest team!
I disagree with you. Manchester City is still favourite to win the league because Pep has an almost unchanged squad. Gundogan is the player whose absence would be greatly missed, he was their captain and was carrying the team on his shoulders in every games. Another player being rumoured to leave is Mahrez. He's been restricted to the bench, and sometimes when he comes in he produces something spectacular but I don't really see how his departure would affect the team. Pep is also recruiting good players to strengthen the team like the acquisition of Kovacic from Chelsea and Josko Gvardiol from Leipzig, so they still pose a threat to other teams.
You are right. Manchester City is most likely to win the title next season as well. This is because Manchester City's squad remains unchanged. Only one change has occurred. Gundagon is not staying with Manchester City. But this squad is tested and stable. On the other hand, many clubs in the Premier League are trying to build a very strong squad. Many clubs are adding talented star players to their squads. But we still don't know how these teams will perform in the coming season. Whether the new players can adapt themselves to the teams or not. And so so far I think Manchester City is the favorite team to win the Premier League next season.
Manchester City possesses several advantages that could propel them towards clinching the league title. However, it's worth considering the potential influence of politics in the league, particularly with a Spanish coach who is on the verge of surpassing the records set by British coaches. In addition, the team might face the challenge of losing key players like Mahrez and Kyle Walker. Furthermore, while their defense isn't the strongest, and the aging process of De Bruyne might impact their overall performance.
As the season unfolds, Manchester City can expect intense competition from formidable rivals such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. The battle for the league title promises to be fiercely contested among these top-tier teams.
