People were already familiar with gambling before they learned bitcoin, so those who later became acquainted with crypto gambling would still gamble but use crypto. And even so, some gamblers eventually also know about investing in bitcoin, so they don't only gamble using bitcoin but also invest in it.

Maybe they are comparing bitcoin to see how far people who gamble go crypto with fiat. Gambling has always been gambling, but what is different is the tool for gambling. Previously, people only knew fiat, but now they are familiar with crypto so that they can gamble. And people gamble because they want a quick profit, but the reality is not like that.
