Pochettino seems to be able to bring big changes to the Chelsea squad. Even though his decision to sell many great players from the club invited various comments from football fans and from football observers. But now he can prove that he can make a strong Chelsea squad with the players he keeps at the club.
But for me Chelsea's performance in that match was not strong enough to compete in the Premier League title race. Their back line still looks quite weak. Because actually Brighton players don't seem too difficult to penetrate the Chelsea defense. Well, this is only a pre-season match, so of course Pochettino is definitely still not finished setting the best strategy for Chelsea. Because the real strategy will definitely be shown in real matches when the season starts later.

Amidst the excitement of the thrilling match between Chelsea and Brighton it is undeniable that the team improved performance has left fans speechless. Mudryk first goal for Chelsea in the pre season was a moment to cherish especially with Nikolas Jackson crucial contribution in creating that brilliant goal. While it is natural to wonder if Chelsea can sustain this level of play the EPL next season will truly test their mettle. The anticipation for Pochettino squad is high and despite the pre season success the final formation and player compositions are yet to be settled. It is funny yet unforgettable to see Mudryk celebrate knowing it will be several months before he gets the chance to do so in official league matches.
I was unable to watch the live match between Chelsea and Brighton yesterday but later had to watch the full replay and I must say that Mauricio Pochettino indeed knows what he want and what he's doing when he let majority of Chelsea first team players leave the club.
The connection and understanding between Nicolas Jackson and Mykhailo Mudryk was simply out of this world and if they can work together and improve that link up, then Chelsea will certainly be a team to beat come the new season
