Pouchettino is a very good coach as has the quality to transform the Chelsea team to title contenders once more and he's already trimming the squad and removed many players that would be a treat to his style of play, the current squad is filled with young and talented players like Madueke, Enzo Fernandes, and Mudryk, that people should watch out for next season, against Brighton it's was a wonderful performance from the blues in winning their first pre-season match against a strong Premier league side.

Brighton had more opportunities to shoot but Chelsea was able to take advantage of them demonstrating their accuracy in scoring. In order to secure the victory contributions from players like Nkunku, Mudryk, Jackson and Gallagher were essential. Chelsea chances for the following season appear better with this fresh energy and a more aggressive strategy under Pouchettino direction. Their ability to recover more quickly from a difficult previous season and perhaps challenge for a top four berth in the English Premier League is demonstrated by their victory against Brighton in a friendly match.

Chelsea's performance against Brighton was much better than what I saw last season. The important thing is that Chelsea's performance was composed. They had a specific match strategy and the players tried to perform well from their positions. Last season we saw that the bond between the players was very weak. But in this match the understanding between the players was good. This is why Chelsea managed to score four goals despite fewer attacks. Mauricio Pochettino has worked hard with this team. Good performance can be expected from Chelsea next season.
