Any addicted gambler that's not willing to quit, it's a waste of effort to try to help that gambler. Quiting had to be a self willing act then after that professionals and love ones can come in to give you professional advice on how to quit and emotional support from your family.

Gambling becomes a hobby at some point so quiting can be very difficult unless you find something that can replace the hobby you have of gambling. You mightn't be addicted but find it hard to quit as well because you're starting to enjoy gambling and it has become a hobby.

The fact is that quiting gambling is very difficult as we have more people suffering from losses and addiction. Also those who're winning won't want to quit as well because they're benefiting from gambling and fir then to quit means they should give up their source of income.

That extend help is useless indeed if the person is not willing to make a change, whatever you do for them will turn to nothing as they are the who will choose for the direction of their life, and then again, self-will if not present for sure that kind of addiction will never be remove inside that persons mind.

It's too difficult to quit when you have got the addiction already, you ask me because I have a lot of people around me who are addicted and they are trying very hard to quit but they just can't. I have a relative who used to gamble using a mobile application that is topped up with mobile banking apps, they have wasted a lot of money on it, sometimes they win, but most of the time they lose, but overall, the losses are obviously way higher than the wins.

They know and realize this thing, and now they want to quit, they keep deleting the app, but just after a few days, I see them playing again, and when I ask why? Because the app was uninstalled earlier, they say they just wanted to play a bit so they installed it again, I said there is no solution to this then.

That statement proves that an addicted gambler without any willingness to face that hardship to avoid gambling will continue to repeat that same cycle, and nothing can be solved, there's a need of proper guidance with the help of professionals, there are patterns that those professionals studied to bring the balance back, and with your dedication and focus to really quit, you will be able to find ways to keep yourself busy without thinking anything about gambling.

To develop habit for something is very easy but sometimes very difficult to quit especially when the it's a bad one, sometimes those addicted to something doesn't know they're addicted until people let them know about their addiction to such act, and it's in our best interest to help people who are addicted to gambling change from the addiction, they could be your brother,sister, relatives or even neighbours that's why they need help because the consequences of their addiction might affect you in one way or the other, it might be a stressful task to carry out, but it's worth it and the change doesn't come easily, it takes a gradual process and requires one to be patient with addicts until they gradually change from their addictions.
Every problem have a solution also their a solution for gambling addiction as well and there are several ways they could be helped, earlier on i mentioned patient, you need to be very patient with them, giving them advices and let them know the consequences of addictive gambling and how it could destroy them mentally and financially, you don't go advising someone to change with violence or raising your voice on them, for cases that seems difficult like cases where the gamblers are deeply addicted you could refer them to visit therapists that would teach them to maintain good behaviours that would help them with their gambling disorder.
