It will not happen. Saudi club was on EU club. How can UEFA consider saudi club to join in the UEFA champion league which is only for europe club? It sounds non sense if this thing gonna happen.
UEFA Champion already subjected to be a competition for europe club. non EU club will never ever be allowed to join in UEFA champion league. It will never happen. I think that speculation was only BS. There will be massive protests coming for UEFA if that thing gonna be real.

That's right, it's beyond common sense and the wave of protests didn't only come from Clubs and Fans, but even from the players themselves. I don't think UEFA will make regulations that allow non-European clubs to join the European Champions League. Because this will also directly intersect or clash with competition regulations between UEFA and AFC. For the European region, UEFA is responsible for and oversees the region, including the European Champions League. while in the Asian region the AFC is responsible for and supervises the Asian region and oversees the Asian level Champions League.

How is it possible that a club from the SPL affiliated under the auspices of the AFC will join UEFA, I think it is an absurd speculation. If you expect an SPL club to meet one of the clubs from Europe then it is only possible in the Club World Cup.
