Yes they have a lot of players and have also brought in some good names too. Imo Chelsea will make the UCL. I’m so sure of this but they won’t win the league. They don’t have European distractions. Pochettino have given them a sense of play and they’re bonding and finding the rhythm this preseason. They will make the CL, people are underestimating what being totally out of Europe brings in term of squad's fitness. It's three teams that one can boldly say are ahead of them.
In the next season, Chelsea cannot be underestimated with their new squad, but Chelsea just needs to focus better on a position that can bring them into the UCL next season. Because I'm also not sure that Chelsea can win the Premier League next season, but if it's just fighting for the top four in the standings, I think it can be very possible for Chelsea. With a new coach at Chelsea, they will have a different spirit next season, especially in terms of trying to be in a better position.
For the Premier League next season I am not at all sure that Chelsea will be able to become champions at the end of the season. I see Chelsea has now shown changes and progress little by little, but to shift the position of Manchester City is too heavy with the current conditions, occupying the top five positions is indeed very possible for them. Pochettino is now very serious about his work, some new ammunition has been brought in and I see now Pochettino has managed to form chemistry with his players so it is not too difficult to form cohesiveness on the pitch. Chelsea will rise soon but not for this season, but for the next few seasons when Pochettino has managed to perfect all sides in his squad.
I believe that the next championship will still go to Manchester city because there seems to be the only club that is most prepared to win the championship because they still maintained the players that aided their success in the last season and haven't sold any of them and even man city is still looking to sign new players into the club, although Chelsea seems to be making some progress in the area of getting the best hands on deck but then due to what the club have suffered in the past it will take them a long time to break the record anytime soon.
Clubs that we can look out for in this season to attempt lifting the trophy is Real Madrid and that is if the club can find a fitting replacement for the space Benzema left in the club.
