The point is that stopping gambling is impossible IF the person does not have a great desire to stop gambling activities that have gone too far.  but if a gambling addict is able to recover from his addiction and become a responsible gambler, it is not impossible that he will become a professional gambler (good or bad depending on the person's choice)
It all depends on the person still having control, so I think it's a bit useless to contact a professional if there is no desire from the addict to recover and stop gambling because it is difficult to do so, I have a friend where he has a wife who is frustrated to make her husband stop gambling even there is no other way but to invite professionals even though it still doesn't help.

This method turned out to not help him and was just a waste of time and money because his husband had no desire to stop gambling and had become a heavy addict, it all depended on himself if his husband wanted to stop gambling of course the professional could help him perfectly, but the result nothing and no, until now my friend has separated from his wife because his wife is tired of her husband's bad behavior.
