Talking about self-control actually looks quite easy when we only rely on theory but when realising it, it is actually a very difficult thing to do especially when we are in gambling.

I also don't want to be naive in this case, even though I often say that self-control is important but when my brain is filled with ambition and emotional when gambling then the word "self-control" will only be useless because it always bumps into the rule with the excuse that it is only occasionally which in the end it actually makes the loss worse because we gamble already in a bad condition.

and indeed the point is as discussed earlier, no matter how much we say self-control is important everything will feel different when gambling enters a much more intense phase.
I've experienced this in some circumstances and as a result I've gone off the path that I've set as my boundaries.

I consider this my shortcoming in exercising good self-control but hey when we're only human then greed occasionally gets the better of us and I've done that too.
Even if it becomes a bad thing but of course this will also be a good experience so that we can make some good steps for ourselves because theory is just a theory and there can be new experiences that come out of the context of the theory we learnt.
