Some persons have a different view about the game, they feel Guardiola made a huge gamble with the game by deciding to leave Kevin De Bruyne on the bench against a team like Arsenal who will always play good football and try to hold possession throughout the game but I feel Arsenal have made huge improvements and are on a fast track to matching City and that was practically put in play against Manchester City in that game.
I do not agree that Arsenal can be compared with City, Guardiola does what he sees fit, besides this is only the beginning of the season and perhaps he had reasons to do so with De Bruyne. Agree when the referee adds 11 minutes of extra time to the main time, this is not normal, but that’s not even the point, I don’t think that anything has changed much and therefore I think that Arsenal will not be able to compete with City on equal terms in the Premier League.
In the end one game cannot be the benchmark to make it seem as if Arsenal can be comparable.
Come on the point is it's one match and everything can happen when we are in 1 match but on the other hand this is different when comparing with 1 season.
When talking about 1 season all things can happen and certainly saying Manchester City are better it can be a good benchmark because they have a more mature squad and coaching.
Not that Arsenal are bad but Manchester City are above them if we are talking about one season not one match.
